Hi, I'm Kirsty, and I'm so happy you're here!
I started Happily with a simple belief: that finding joy in everyday moments, getting creative and taking time away from screens can make a real difference to our wellbeing.
But the story of Happily actually began at home, with my son Hugo.
How it all began
When Hugo was younger, he struggled with anxiety. His occupational therapist suggested hands-on activities to help him manage his worries, and we soon discovered just how much he loved creating things.
We spent hours together making figurines, threading bracelets, tackling craft projects and putting together puzzles. These activities gave Hugo something positive to focus on, helped him unwind and sparked a love of creativity that we could share.
With limited screen time at home, I was always searching for new craft kits and creative activities, but I often struggled to find everything I wanted in one place.
My husband Chris and I already owned Sweet Pea Parties, our family-run party supplies business. One day, I mentioned my frustration to Chris, and he suggested we start a new business.
And so, in November 2024, Happily was born!
A little more happy in every day
What started with Hugo has grown into something much bigger. I wanted to create a place where people of all ages could discover products that encourage creativity, mindfulness and moments of calm.
At Happily, you'll find a thoughtfully chosen collection of sensory toys and fidgets, art and craft kits, puzzles, journals, stationery and self-care essentials.
Some products help keep busy hands occupied, others encourage creative expression or offer a moment of relaxation. And some are just really good fun!
I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing. My hope is that Happily helps you discover activities that work for you and your family, whether that's taking a mindful break, exploring a new hobby or enjoying some screen-free fun.

Happily is proudly owned and operated by Sweet Pea Parties, in Hamilton, New Zealand.
All our products are stocked in our Hamilton warehouse, with fast shipping nationwide. We're always on the lookout for exciting new brands and products to add to our growing collection.
